PC Band 10 Year Anniversary Weekend. Kibitz Sat. Whaler Fri

Somewhere's abouts circa January 27, 2000 we played our first band show at Scruffy O'Shea's on the corner of Abbot Kinney and Washington. Scruffy's is now a fancy restaurant called Beechwood or something. I dunno. I've never been there. After the show, we took the money we made and went to the Brig and spent it all on booze. Now the Brig has been gentrified too. But we haven't.

We'll be at the Venice Whaler on Friday with Kamikaze Red. 10pm-1am. Free!

Saturday is when the wheels fall off at the Kibitz. It is Dutch our guitar player of 1 decade strong's birthday. Along with the crazy Kibitz bartender Skoty's bday too. It is triple trouble. Our once a year party there. We've all played there at least 100 times.

Burt Reynolds Is Producing Our New Record. Bakersfield Friday.

Hey we just started recording our new rekkid last night at the Little Rascals clubhouse we call Melbourne Studios.

Like the last EP, this is gonna be all vegan. Food provided by the delicious Green Leaves Vegan restaurant on Hillhurst in Los Feliz.

We had a couple celebrities stop by during the first day of recording. Namely: Brady Wills. San Diego's top weatherman and also the nifty bass player in Dutch & The Disasters and Mack Winston & The Reflections.

Also, stopping by were Burt Reynolds and his assistant Angelo Bundini. Burt Reynolds is actually slated to produce the record. Bundini will be mixing. Enjoy this slideshow. That's Burt Reynolds, our producer, wearing a hoodie on the cover.

Although tonight is actually the 2nd Friday of January, they are doing first Fridays on Abbot Kinney tonight. That means the stores stay open late. Lots and lots of gourmet food trucks. (I counted at least 15 last month).

I would like to keep this little post somewhat short, but this is like one of my dream line ups.
