We
played at that there House Of Blues on the Sunset Strip. 3 times. All
of them were sold out on the big boy stage opening up for Texas country
star Pat Green.
I hear they're shutting it down.
We had some good times up in there. And met a lot of great music fans who have become friends.
I also went to see a lot of shows there. I saw Aretha Franklin. Saw Crosby, Stills & Nash in 1994. And I got to see Johnny Cash there. Twice. The 2nd night I used the ticket from the 1st night and crossed out the date with Wite-Out. It wasn't the world's greatest counterfeit job. After the door guy took my obviously fake ticket and stamped my hand he said, "That wasn't so hard was it?" I laughed and said "Thanks man!" as I waltzed back through the door, got out my flask and enjoyed a Johnny Cash show for free. Cheers HoB! We hardly knew ye.
